Program Costs
All students pay this one-time registration fee whether taking credit recovery courses or graduating from Satellite. If a student plans to earn a diploma through Satellite, this registration fee will also cover the cost of obtaining and analyzing a copy of all prior transcripts.
Course fees:
Half-credit course: $69. Fee covers the chapters, assignments, tests,
shipping and handling.
Full-credit course: $138. Fee covers the chapters, assignments, tests,
shipping and handling.
These course fees apply to all students whether they are planning to
graduate through Satellite or are taking courses for any other purpose
including credit-recovery, credit-acceleration, early graduation, etc.
There is a $20 fee for the diploma. Students will receive their diploma and a copy of their transcript immediately after all graduation requirements have been met.
Optional graduation
ceremony:
Students may choose to participate in our annual graduation ceremony
held each May in Kansas City, Missouri. In order to participate,
a student must pay $125 in graduation fees, which includes the diploma,
cap, gown, tassel, announcements, and tickets to the ceremony.
Other optional fees:
If
a student graduates through Satellite, there is a $5 fee per request to
send an unofficial copy of a student's trancript to him/her or to send
an official copy of
a student's transcript to a college, university, or other
institution.
